40 years ago! Wow!! I remember when Wayne asked me at Western Bible College if I thought it was okay to ask Marj for a date. I believe it was to the Missions Banquet. I said to go ahead and the rest is history! Happy Anniversary!!
Well, yes, once I get past the memory of hemming the last of the attendants' dresses (a lovely empire design with white bodices trimmed in lace, navy skirts and red sashes, as navy (and/or red??) was Marj's favorite color at the time. Is it still??) minutes before the rehearsal lunch, which, if I'm not mistaken, was held the same day as the wedding... I can think of some fun memories... catching the bouquet, seeing the happy couple off in their... was it a Maverick??... that had a taillight burned out and Wayne's brother Bob laughingly commenting, "That's Junior for ya!)
